Product Description

This listing is for our second to smallest can..but you can watch a video featuring our largest can:

Cream can suppers are perfect for back yard get-togethers, tailgate parties, wedding rehearsal dinners…actually any time you want to feed a lot of folks. This is the second from smallest of our cream can supper family and will feed about 8 - 10 hungry people in less than an hour after you start cooking.

This beautiful cream can is stainless steel, not aluminum. If you can find a cream can this good anywhere for less, buy it! We don't think you will. Many times even old cans at farm auctions go for much more than what this can costs.

For heat, this little guy will fit right on your range top, a small propane cooker you've seen for camping, or it works great on a barbeque side burner. These babies have no seams for food to get caught in and that also makes clean up easy, and there is a hole in the lid to let steam out when cooking. (By the way about 40 minutes after you see steam, time to eat!)

Now if you are not from Nebraska, you may be asking yourself, what the heck is a cream can supper? Well, quite simply it is a fast and easy way to feed a passel of folks a delicious (and nutritious) meal in no time.

This size can not only includes the basic cream can supper recipe, but also a recipe developed just for this can, delicious prime rib slices in less than 15 minutes! We'll tell you how to take ribeye steaks, season them and steam them into tasty prime rib!

  5. Excellent product, lacked instructions 4 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Sep 2013

We were excited to try out our cream can cooker over the weekend. I was hoping for more instructions/ideas of what to cook and what meats work well, etc. I was also unsure of how much heat to use/keep it on high the whole time and online searches weren't very helpful. Although I enjoyed the product, I would have liked more instructions and ideas of how to fully use it.

The basic Cream Can Supper recipe comes with the can, which is what it is meant for.

  6. 2 1/2 Gallon Cream Can Supper Can "GREAT" 5 Star Review

First I like the fact it's Stainless Steel and not only that the fit and finish is great. It's made for them in India, not China, and the finish on the steel makes me believe it may be a high end Scandinavian Stainless Steel. I like the size since you can cook for 8-10 people if you want or less if you choose. Yet it's small enough you can store it fairly easy (unlike another brand I have). The lid has a safety chain but I haven't blown it off (no gasket to wear out either) . I found that if I had it a bit hot, some steam came out around the lid but it's easy to adjust so steam only comes out the vent hole. Just light steam and it works great. You wouldn't think cooking several foods in one pot would work but it is GOOD STUFF. Plus I haven't had food sticking to the inside. I did use the jar rings in the bottom and that does work but I've found a cheap 6 inch cake rack I'm buying to use in the bottom. It will fit through the neck easily and cover most of the bottom. I really love this thing. For anyone thinking stainless is hard to maintain, I recommend Barkeepers Friend powder. Doesn't scratch, does maintain the shine, and will even remove minor rust (which most Chinese stainless will have happen). Lot of recipes on the net for cooking in these and I think I can cook anything I want, veggie or meat, in this. Yes I do recommend this cooker . Works Great, good price too.
